उत्तराखंड के योगनगरी ऋषिकेश स्टेशन पर उज्जैनी एक्सप्रेस के तीन डिब्बे पटरी से उतरने से बड़ा रेल हादसा हो गया। हादसा इतना भयावह था कि एक बोगी पलटकर ट्रैक से करीब 20 फुट बाहर लटक गई। शुरुआती जांच में ब्रेक फेल होने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। रेलवे स्टेशन के सीसीटीवी में कैद हुई इस घटना ने एक बार फिर भारतीय रेलवे की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।
A major train accident occurred at Uttarakhand's 'Yoganagari' Rishikesh station when three coaches of the Ujjaini Express derailed. The mishap was so severe that one of the coaches overturned and ended up hanging approximately 20 feet off the track. Preliminary investigations suggest that brake failure may have been the cause. Captured on the railway station's CCTV cameras, this incident has once again raised serious questions regarding the safety protocols of Indian Railways.
